Registration of farmers started for soybean procurement Registration will continue till October 20

Bhopal : As per the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the process of soybean procurement in the Price Support Scheme has been started in the state. Registration of farmers on the e-procurement portal for soybean procurement has started from Wednesday. Farmers can register themselves for soybean sale till October 20, 2024.

In the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, it was decided that the procurement of soybean from registered farmers under the Price Support Scheme of the Central Government in Kharif year 2024 (marketing year 2024-25) will be done by the state procurement agency M.P. State Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited.

Purchase (procurement) of soybean from registered farmers will be done from October 25 to December 31. 1400 centers will be established for soybean procurement, which can be amended as per requirement. 13.68 lakh metric tonnes of soybean will be procured from farmers in the state at the minimum support price of Rs. 4892 per quintal. If the procurement is more than the prescribed quantity, the state government will purchase soybean at its own level.
