Congress releases its election manifesto for Rajasthan Assembly polls
In Rajasthan, Congress has today released a manifesto for assembly elections at the PCC headquarters in presence of party president Mallikarjun Kharge.
Several Senior leaders of the party were present at the occasion including Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, Jitendra Singh, Mukul Vasnik and C P Joshi. The key points of Congress manifesto are MSP law for farmers as per the recommendations of Swaminathan Committee.
The amount of Chiranjeevi health insurance Scheme will be increased from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. 10 lakh youth will be given employment, including 4 lakh government jobs.
A new cadre of government jobs will be created at the Panchayat level. Gas cylinder is currently available for 500 rupees it will be reduced to 400 rupees for BPL, NFSA and Ujja
wal beneficiaries. By bringing RTE law in the state, education up to 12th will be made free in private educational institutions also.
MNREGA and Indira Gandhi urban employment will be increased from 125 to 150 days. Merchant Credit Card Scheme will be started to provide interest free loans up to 5 lakh rupees to small traders and shopkeepers. Villages and hamlets with a population up to 100 will be connected by road. Security guards will be deployed in every village and urban ward. Housing will be given to everyone by bringing a Right to Housing law. Caste census will be conducted. Kahrage concluded that all points of the manifesto will be implemented.
