Renowned director SS Rajamouli has recently unveiled his latest project, ‘Baahubali: Crown of Blood,’ setting the stage for another epic journey into the world of Mahishmati. The announcement was made via a video shared on X platform, where Rajamouli teased fans with the promise of an upcoming trailer.

In the video, accompanied by gripping visuals, Rajamouli wrote, “When the people of Mahishmati chant his name, no force in the universe can stop him from returning. Baahubali: Crown of Blood, an animated series trailer, arrives soon!” Despite the tantalising glimpse, details regarding the cast and storyline remain under wraps for now.

This venture into animation isn’t unfamiliar territory for Rajamouli, who previously introduced ‘Baahubali: The Lost Legends’ in 2017. The animated series, spanning four seasons, found its home on Amazon Prime Video, captivating audiences with its rich storytelling.

‘Baahubali 2’s release in 2017 was met with immense anticipation, particularly due to the cliffhanger ending of its predecessor. The sequel saw a staggering premiere, gracing over 9,000 screens worldwide, including an impressive 6,500 screens in India alone. This extensive distribution marked it as the most widely screened Indian film of its time.
