Several trains cancelled after derailment of Coromandel Express in Odisha

Several special and express trains are being cancelled on Saturday following the derailment of 12841 Coromandel Express on Friday at Bahanaga Bazar station on Kharagpur – Bhadrak section of South Eastern Railway’s Kharagpur division. These are 08411 Balasore – Bhubaneswar, 08415 Jaleswar – Puri, 08063 Kharagpur – Bhadrak, 08031 Balasore – Bhadrak Special, 12891 Bangriposi – Puri, 18021 Kharagpur – Khurda Road, 22895 Howrah – Puri, 12703 Howrah – Secunderabad, 1282 1 Shalimar – Puri, 12245 Howrah – Bangalore, 18045 Shalimar – Hyderabad, 20889 Howrah – Tirupati Express will remain cancelled. Besides, 15644 Kamakhya – Puri, 12508 Silchar – Thiruvananthapuram and 22504 Dibrugarh – Kanyakumari Express which started last 1st of June will be diverted to Kharagpur – Tatanagar – Rourkela – Jharsuguda – Sambalpur – Singapore Road, along with 22812 New Delhi – Bhubaneswar, 12876 which started yesterday. Anand Vihar – Puri, 22612 New Jalpaiguri – Madras, 07047 Dibrugarh – Secunderabad Express are being diverted, according to railway sources.
