ISRO to organise special programme for school children called Young Scientist Programme- YUVIKA from 13th of May

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will organise a special programme for school children called ‘Young Scientist Programme- YUva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA) from the 13th of May this year. The key objective of this initiative is to impart basic knowledge on Space Science, Space Technology and Space Applications to the younger students in emerging trends in space science and technology. The two-week programme set to begin on the 13th of May this year, envisages classroom training, practical demonstration of experiments, hands-on CANSAT, Robotic kit, Model rocketry interactions with ISRO scientists and field visits. Students studying in Class 9 as of 1st January 2024 are eligible to register for the programme from 20th February on the ISRO Antariksha Jigyasa Platform: https://jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/registration.
